I bought a leftover 06 Liberty Renegade in late summer of 07.
I had decided that I had to have a Jeep. I was thinking Wrangler,
ready to get one and begin hooking it up. I took my my son Noah
to the dealer. He saw the Renegade and said we had to get it.
I thought it would be cool to "let him pick out the Jeep" but I wasn't
sure about the Renegade. I put a deposit on it, went home and did some
after market part searches. I wanted to make sure that it could be
modified the way a Wrangler can. Turns out it could. So I got it.
Within about 2 and a half months I had finished off the first round of mods.
• New suspension from Rusty's, gave me a little over 2.5 inches of lift
• Cargar Soft Eights with big fat BFG/TKO's
• Replaced stock sound system with Kenwood Head unit and speakers
• 2 - 10" Bazooka Powered Subs (200 watt each)
• Kenwood compatible 40 GB hard drive connected to head unit.

• Custom neoprene seat recovering
•Rock rails and complete under armor plating
I'm not sure what I am going to change next. Maybe a bumper replacement.
I am also going to get a roof basket and carry a second full size spare on top.
Whatever I end up doing, it wont be done till the economy bounces back.
Right now is not the time to be spendingSo I've got time to think about it.
